Lost in Translation

 

Hoy os muestro las fotos de una de las noches en las que salimos a cenar en Tokio al maravilloso restaurante Keyakizaka del hotel Hyatt, escenario de rodaje de la película Lost in Translation de Sofía Coppola. Un lugar increíble y una cena muy especial, para la que elegí este mono negro con lentejuelas. Espero que os guste!!

 

Today I show you the pics of one of the nights we went out for dinner in Tokyo to the awesome Keyakizaka restaurant in Hyatt hotel, setting of Lost in Translation shooting, directed by Sofia Coppola. An amazing place and a very special dinner, for which I chose this black sequined jumpsuit. Hope you like it!!

Apenas sin tiempo para publicar, hoy os quería mostrar las fotos de nuestro último día en Japón, en que decidimos visitar los barrios de Ueno y Asakusa, para terminar volviendo al famoso Shibuya, epicentro de la cultura joven de Tokio, para disfrutar de una agradable tarde de compras y hacer algunas fotos del famoso street style que inunda las calles de la ciudad, una auténtica pasarela en la que contemplar todo tipo de tendencias. With very limited time to publish, today I wanted to show you the pics of our last day in Japan, in which we decided to visit Ueno and Asakusa neighborhoods, to end coming back to famous Shibuya, epicenter of Tokyo's young culture, to enjoy a nice shopping evening and take some pictures of the famous street style that invades all the city streets, a real catwalk to stare at all kind of trends. I hope you like it!!

 

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are

 

En el post de hoy quería mostraros el look "japonés" que elegí para visitar dos de las zonas que más me gustaron de Tokio: Ginza, con su barrio lleno de establecimientos de lujo y su famoso Mercado de Tsukiji (la lonja de pescado más grande del mundo) y Marunouchi, donde se encuentra el famoso Palacio Imperial y una interesante zona de compras, restaurantes y eventos culturales. Y digo look "japonés" ya que tanto la camiseta con original mensaje como la falda son adquisiciones de la zona comercial de Harajuku, sin duda un look muy de moda por la capital nipona. Espero que os guste!!

In today's post I wanted to show you the "Japanese" look I chose to visit two of my favorite zones in Tokyo: Ginza, with its neighborhood full of luxury establishments and its famous Tsukiji Market (the world's biggest fish market) and Marunouchi, where the famous Imperial Palace is located, and also an interesting shopping, restaurants and cultural events area. And I say "japanese" look because both the shirt with original message and the skirt are Harajuku shopping area acquisitions, a typical and "in" Japanese look. I hope you like it!!

De nuevo un post en Tokio, esta vez en el barrio de Shibuya, con su famoso cruce que atraviesan por lo menos cien mil personas cada hora, sin duda uno de los más concurridos del mundo. Llegamos en tren bala desde Kioto a la estación de Shibuya JR, en cuya salida se encuentra la estatua de Hachiko (para quien no conozca la historia, le recomiendo ver la peli de Richard Gere, eso sí, las lágrimas están aseguradas) y, después de dar una vuelta por el barrio, fuimos a comer al famoso Narisawa, con 3 estrellas Michelín y considerado el mejor restaurante de Asia (los que me seguís en las redes sociales pudisteis ver algunos de los maravillosos platos que nos sirvieron). Después de comer, una laaarga siesta para luego poder disfrutar de la excitante vida nocturna de Tokio, que prometo enseñaros en el próximo post. Espero que os guste!!

 

Once again, a post in Tokyo, this time in Shibuya Neighborhood, with its famous crossing which pass through at least a hundred thousand people per hour, one of the most crowded in the world. We arrived to Shibuya JR station in a bullet train from Kyoto, in which exit it is located the Hachiko statue (for those who do not know the history, I recommend you to watch Richard Gere's film, though tears are granted) and, after going around the neighborhood, we went to have lunch to famous Narisawa, with 3 Michelin Stars and considered the best restaurant in Asia (those who follow me through my social networks could see some of the wonderful dishes they served us). After lunch, a loooong nap to be able to enjoy afterwards the exciting Tokyo nightlife, which I promise to show you in next post. I hope you like it!!
